Default Watch WWDC '09 Online

"Watch Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, unveil the new iPhone 3G S, the new MacBook Pro family, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard. See the video-on-demand event right here, exclusively in QuickTime and MPEG-4."

If the announcements weren't enough for you here, head on over to Apple and watch the keynote.

I understand the miff, but people who bought the original bought it unsubsidized, and the 3G came subsidized. I can understand why AT&T wants people to wait until they at least come close to finishing their contracts, or make up the value of the unused subsidy.

I know with Verizon they let you get upgrade pricing after 20 months when you have a 24 month contract. I have always seen my purchases as two year deals; I'll lust after new handsets in the meantime but I'm always happiest when I wait anyway.

I'm realy puzzled by the sense of entitlement that some iPhone users have - why should you get any sort of price break on a new piece of hardware, unless you're renewing your phone contract? What makes the iPhone different than any other phone?

It's just a break from the past, that's all. yea I know, that was subsidy yada yada, but if you are going to stick to 2 yrs stick to 2 yrs... I get it, I don't think I'm entitled, I was just hoping is all

Well in your case it seems like a legitimate gripe - did you find out why your date jumped from this year to next year? That doesn't make much sense...
