Sirius Unveils SkyDock App
"Although its companion hardware has yet to be released, Sirius XM has released a dedicated XM SkyDock app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Users are able to tune into various XM satellite radio stations, including artist-specific stations for the likes of Elvis Presley and the Metropolitan Opera. While listening, stock and sports tickers provide visual feedback."
This works similar to the Sirius XM Radio app already in the iTunes App Store, but this turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a functioning Sirius XM radio rather than an internet listening device. This will allow you to get premium programming that you won't get (due to rights issues) without the SkyDock. The SkyDock was supposed to be available October 18th for $119.95 USD, but there are some reports of early availability at Best Buy.
