OS 3.1 Hits Beta: Nice Enhancements
"Early word from TiPb commenters and the Twitter show some new iPhone 3.1 features found already: * Non-destructive video editing means trimming a clip no longer saves over the original video but gives you the option to “Save as copy…” * Voice Control now works over Bluetooth * iPhone vibrates when moving icons * Updated AT&T profile to 4.2 * Updated modem firmware to 5.08.01" 
Interesting stuff! I didn't expect Voice Control to work over Bluetooth, but I really REALLY want it to. So far, I'm quite happy with 3.0 and these updates, though minor, are kinda cool. Oh, and in my initial impressions post, I wrote about Voice Control not working well. Since then, it's improved and I can't quite explain why. I use it every day now. Oh, and the non-destructive editing of videos would be great. Sometimes you want to post multiple clips from a long video and as the iPhone is configured now, you can't. I'm definitely looking forward to that.
