Default Average App Price on the Upswing

http://www.businessinsider.com/ipho...bilizing-2009-3

"Paid apps in Apple's iPhone App Store still cost less than they did in late December. But good news for iPhone developers: App prices stabilized -- and actually increased a bit -- during March, after at least two months of price declines."

The average priced bumped up a nickel to $2.60 USD from the last check on February 21st, roughly a month ago. Interesting note, there are no $9.99 USD apps in the top 100 paid apps list for the 2nd month in a row. The MLB app is well worth the $9.99 USD if you are a baseball fan, and I have the Pageonce application that is also handy, but I really haven't seen many others that interest me. Of course I don't spend hours searching through the app store either so if you have found some apps in that price range that are worth it, let us know!

At this point, the only apps worth over $9.99 to me have been eWallet and Pocket Informant (I actually didn't pay for PI since I'm on the beta team, but would've paid for it... ).

PI 1.0 was a little slow in the performance department, but 1.01 should be out soon, and it really improved performance. Also, there will be a "lite" version of PI out sometime, in case the $12.99 is difficult to swallow without trying it first.
