I'm having trouble uninstalling an app on my iPhone. Can anyone help?

I downloaded and installed this app (called Holy Quran) from the AppStore a few weeks ago. yesterday when I opened it (after quite a few days), it had a message saying "there's a new application called so and so, install that one".

The original application was still working normally by the way.

So I went to the app store and installed that newer applicaiton. Now I wanted to delete this application so i went into "wiggly mode" so I could press the 'x' on this application's icon to delete it but strangely there was no 'x' on this applicaiton's icon. As if this is a stock apple application.

All my other app store (self installed) apps have the 'x'. Its only this one that's acting weird.

When I go into itunes, it doesn't even show me this application as being in my app library or on my iphone (in the list with the sync checkbox).

help?

Can I remove this manually? and how?
