"This update includes stability improvements and is recommended for all Safari users."
That one line of text is all that Software Update told me when I hit it this morning. Go figure. Anyway, go grab the update. It can never hurt to have a little more stability in your life or your web browser.

Safari looks and feels more Mac-like, even next to a GrAppled FireFox. The latter's shortcomings aren't just cosmetic, but behavioural, too.
I agree which is why I continue to use Safari. I have Firefox, Opera, Camino and OmniWeb, but I almost never use them. Safari is also my browser of choice when I boot into Windows - but that more because I have my Bookmarks synchronised to Safari under both platforms.
I've just not seen anything compelling enough for me in the alternatives to abandon Safari.

I prefer Firefox because, as a blogger, there are a few extensions that I can't live without (and it's not for lack of trying). I think if something came along that could replace the TinyURL extension (the one I use most) I might change my mind but doing TinyURLs in a bookmarklet is pretty much a dealbreaker for me.
I know that sounds silly, but I really do use it that much.
I guess if I could replace that, Safari would become an option for me.

I can go weeks without ever opening Safari. For a while I actually took it off my dock. I think that it minimizes the shock from moving between OS (work and home).
I had just switched to FF about 6 weeks ago because I just couldn't stand the stupid ads (particularly the f***ing intellitext pop-up crap that just DRIVES ME CRAZY) but I just switched back to Safari (and WebKit nightly builds) about a week ago when I realized that FF was just too slow and RAM hungry when it's been running a while with a lot of tabs. Plus there comes a point when reading RSS feeds in Google Reader when I open too many articles and GReader complains that there is a pop-up blocker stopping it, which does not happen in Safari.
