Default Mac to Get Kindle Program Too!

http://www.electronista.com/article...dalone.devices/

"Following Amazon's announcement of Kindle software for Windows users, the company has acknowledged that it is also working on a Mac version, according to Fast Company."

It's well documented that I love my Kindle, as well as the accompanying iPhone app. This is welcome news, since I was a little disappointed that when they announced the Windows 7 version, a Mac version wasn't mentioned. I don't know how much I would use it since I have my Kindle in my laptop bag, but I'm all for having options.

Yawn. The Kindle was hot until B & N announced the Nook. If Apple drops the ball and doesn't announce a tablet by the end of Jan, I'm buying the Nook.

I guess for me it is the whole process, which is very very easy via Amazon.com. If B&N had a similar process I'd consider swapping, possibly. I'm just so used to how it all works seamlessly with the Kindle that I seriously doubt anyone can top it.

Since we are on book readers, interesting opinion piece from The Mac Observer on if/when Apple builds tablet, it will take over the e-book market.

Wouldn't have to top it just be equal in the delivery and execution. The Nook from a hardware POV is superior IMO and it's running Android which opens other possibilities down the line.
