Dear Colleagues:

I am trying to help a friend who works online as a college instructor. She fights for her Macintosh all of the time even though most of the schools offer little or no support.

The problem is that she was told she now needsJAVA 1.6.0_12 for some of her work. I cannot find this on the Apple site and have not been able to locate assistance anywhere.

I would be most grateful for any advice you can offer.
