"Users clamoring for a high-performance tablet computer running Mac OS X have a new option this week, with  Mac modifier Axiotron announcing the Modbook Pro tablet at Macworld Expo, available now for pre-order."

Steve Wozniak, everyone's favorite Apple Co-Founder (and Axiotron board member), was at Macworld yesterday and helped unveil the latest tablet Mac from Axiotron. Called the "Modbook Pro", is uses the uni-body 15.4 Macbook Pro as its base, with mostly the same feature set. One thing this has that other tablets don't, according to Axiotron, is something called "Synergy Touch," which supports both touch and pen input simultaneously.

Nice, but that's a high price to pay no matter how you look at it. I don't see average consumers running out to buy this. Even worst having their beloved Mac transformed at that price.
