I have a code from Boxee that I am going to try out on my MacBook - if it works out, maybe it goes on the Mini that we use as a media machine. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Maybe it's time . . .

In that case, both of you should report back because I ain't got the spine to do anything hacky with my AppleTV :-)

Ok, I tried it out on my MacBook. It is very nice looking, very stable (there are some things that do not seem to work as I thought they would, but all in all it was fine.) I will not use it, though, as it does not seem to be able to play any iTunes purchased songs or movies, and it does not replicate Front Row's ability to go through your library by iTunes Playlists, Genres, etc. It was able to access Netflix using my account. It did not seem to import all of my music, though I could browse for albums and artists in my iTunes library folder.

Not quite there yet.
