This is awesome news for those of you who can't get in front of a television, radio, the internet, sms, Twitter, Facebook, Friendfeed, or any of the other 30,000 places you'll be able to catch every waking breath of the inauguration.

Okay, seriously, though, this is pretty cool if you're a fan of Ustream.  Me?  I'm not really interested in watching; I want to see who wins the "broadcast" race between Ustream and Qik and who gets their app approved first.

I downloaded ustream to watch the inauguration while getting ready for work this morning. It ended up having to pause and buffer a few times, and actually timed out about 5 times during the 30 mins I used it. Plus it doesn't keep the screen turned on, so I'd have to tap the screen every 2 minutes. Other than those issues, it worked great!
