Default AT&T Refurb iPhone 3Gs for $79

http://www.appletell.com/apple/comm...or-79-from-att/

"We're days away from the launch of the iPhone 3G S, and AT&T apparently is eager to dump off their stock refurbished iPhone 3Gs (the 3GS moniker vs. plural 3Gs is going to prove confusing for quite a while, huh). On the refurbished cell phone page at AT&T's website, you can now order a refurbished 8GB with two year contract for $79, and a refurbished 16GB with contract (white only...black is currently out of stock) for only $129."

You still have the obligatory contract and data plans, but if you were holding out for a deal on a 3G this probably as good as it is going to get. I've bought refurbs before in laptops and cell phones, and I haven't had a problem yet, knock on wood.

Yes, in fact, I think that you should change the quote (with brackets, of course), as well as the title of this post, to say that AT&T "is eager o dump off their stock refurbished iPhone 3G [phones]."

But, then again, I tend to be pedantic . . .

And of course they do this AFTER I bought mine for $99 (not that I'm complaining by any means). But had this been available when I bought mine, I'd have gone for the 16 GB refurb.
