June?  I'll take it.  Honestly, I don't feel the urgency for the next version of the iPhone OS that I felt for 2.0, so it isn't pressing to me, but I always like to see new gadgets come along!  Anyone else looking forward to the 3.0 release?

I personally see no need for another iPhone unless they give me Notes and To-do sync in addition to Copy - Paste.

My VZW contract is up in December this year, and I learned that we actually have a better AT&T signal here at home than we do VZW. So, sure, I'm interested to see what I'll be in the market for at the end of the year.

I'll bite only if it does multi-tasking as is rumored (and sorely needed). Short of that, I'll be eagerly looking at the latest win mo, android, and palm devices come July when my AT&T contract finally expires. FWIW, here AT&T's coverage is atrocious. The iPhone 4G will have to be pretty incredible to make me stay with them. I'd love to consider the Pre, as well, but Sprint is equally bad. T-mobile==bad too. Sad, sad, sad. I hate big red, but I may end up stuck with them and that likely means win mo or blackberry. Uugh!

Of course I'm looking forward to it- I am a gadget junky after all. I just hope there's not another data plan cost increase like there was last year. I also hope that my work will buy it for me despite the fact that I won't be eligible for an upgrade. Otherwise I'll have to hold onto my 3G for the full 2 years (ack!).

Multi-tasking is my #1 feature request. A higher res screen would be #2. 32 GB is #3. Feature-wise I'm pretty satisfied already.

I cant wait to be honest - they have to put a better camera in the next generation. A 2mp camera just doesnt cut it anymore and we need proper video.

I hope the next iPhone has better hardware plus a nice firmware upgrade. But without 32GB and something other than that plastic back I won't be upgrading at all this year. I really wanted the GPS and 3G but did not like the current design and it's associated problems.
