Default iPhone is the Standard for Touchscreens

http://www.electronista.com/article...tion.jumps.159/

"The iPhone now represents almost exactly one third of all touchscreen phones in the US, new comScore info says. Of all touch phones in the country, 32.9 percent are iPhones while all others trail significantly behind."

You can see from the list above from Comscore that the closest competitor has about 9% of the market. To state the obvious, the iPhone is dominating. There isn't much competition for the iPhone but I hear there may be soon. What are your thoughts on the future of touchscreen dominance?

These #'s are misleading. If you are going to list EACH model from each competitor, then you should also divide the iPhone #'s by model (.ie 3G, 3Gs and maybe even memory size)... ie. there are *3* LG phones on this list... totaling 2.6 + 7.8 + 8.7 = 19.1%. Apple should not benefit in a poorly constructed comparison by producing a limited # of alternatives...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Apple fan, but hate seeing "our side" promote mis-leading and self-serving #.
