I just got my MBP last night after we returned from vacation.

First thoughts: Very WELL put together, fit and finish surpasses my expectations; the screen, glossy and all... is beautiful, i have no issue with glossy screens; the screen size... large, I am so used to 13 inches, I wonder if I will miss that; the track pad is very loud when clicking - that is the only thing I don't like.

I am using invisibleShield's total protection package for the Late 2008 MBPs and even though you would think that this would make the trackpad less "touchable", it actually continues to work fine for me.

Granted, I find it a tad hard to rotate a picture in iPhoto, but other than that, everything works as expected.

Apple just released a fix for the trackpads of the Late 2008 MBs and MBPs.

Can't say it changed anything for me, seeing how it worked before, but its good to know that somebody is listening

Apple posted a System Update apparently designed to fix the clicking problem.
