Default Win a Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Photo taken with the amazing Nikon D300 and the equally impressive Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

We published a review of the Jawbone Bluetooth headset a few months ago, and after coming back from CES I happened to be given one at a press event. It was quite funny actually; Aliph (the company who makes the Jawbone) was giving one headset to every press person at the event, and it was like a rugby scrum trying to get one - I even had a little old lady jam her way in front of me to get one. :roll:

The thing is, I don't wear Bluetooth headsets very often - I don't make or receive enough phone calls to warrant looking like a Star Trek movie extra between scene breaks. ;-) So guess what? Giveaway time! This giveaway is for a black Jawbone headset and the included accessory kit, which includes an AC power to USB adaptor, a charging cable, and the different size options for the headset.

To enter this contest, simply post a message in this thread telling me what your favourite hobby is. One entry per person, I'll ship it anywhere in the world, and the contest closes at 11 AM mountain time on Wednesday the 6th of February.

UPDATE: I forgot to add that this is a random drawing...I'm not going to judge who has the best hobby. 8)

UPDATE #2: The contest is now closed (I left it open for a bit longer), and the winner is...tcassidy. Congratulations! The winner should check their private message box here on the forums for a message from me.

I know it still sounds geeky after so many years, but it is stamp collecting.
Will that hobby ever become trendy?

My favorite hobby we can only do right after we get a great snow fall, too much snow for most cars. we gather a truck with 4wd grab a snap strap just in case and a tow strap and we tie one end to the truck and hold onto the other end as we ride on sleds. it's fun but tiring and you need a lot of snow.

My favorite past time or hobby is- how best I can harness the power of my pocket pc in the clinical arena. So I created animations to teach parents of my patients. I voice record the interview of my students with patients and analyze to improve communications skills. All these are done with pocket pc. I am comparing traditional interpreter with pocket pc with spanish audio and disease animation to see if technology can help obviate the need of an interpreter for routine issues.

Code-frog drools! Finally a BT headset!!!

My favorite hobby is taking my son out to places without electricity, phones, computers, people and doing GPS the old fashioned way. I cannot afford real GPS and then it hit me. Why not take Grant out and do it the old fashioned way.

We bought the official U.S. Army Land Navigation Hand Book and two compasses. I got a $25 gift card for Christmas to Amazon and that just about covered all the expenses.

So we like to go out hiking or mountain biking and do GPS the way our fathers and grand fathers did it. We don't need no stinking GARMIN! {Well we'd love one but we have as much fun doing it the old fashioned way.}

So that is my hobby but I think you could even say that I love doing things the way we used to before lithium batteries, wireless networks and Sprint Mogul phones. I'm amazed how every time I do that the quality of the time I spend with my kids goes up exponentially.

I'd love the headset and well... now you know my current favorite hobby. {Drums fingers... what else can I say to really win this thing?... Well I guess that's all there is to say. I've answered the question. No farm animals were hurt and I still prefer toilet paper to spotted owls.} :lol:
