I like the fact that it is simple security that can be configured and then forgotten. It takes care of itself.

i like the idea that i can set several SIMs to be recognized as my own as i have 2 SIMs......

I would love to see a function whereby i can activate some kinda "phone lock" after the sms has been sent from my stolen phone to my predetermined number, rendering the phone useless.

this way, the phone cant be sold off to any unsuspecting buyer before i can report the thief to the police....
and the b*st*rd still gets caught...... :devilboy:

I like that it supports multiple SIM cards.
I would have to tell the truth that I have yet to experience any tragedy associated with a PPC, but that's because I've been pretty diligent keeping my eyes on it. I also don't think it's prudent to wait for disaster to strike before I act.

Ok wait a minute. Maybe I'm missing something here, but are you honestly telling me that all this app does is SMS me the thief's phone number?? It doesn't, say, LOCK the device?? Render it useless, or encrypt data?? So in other words, a potential thief has free reign of my device?? I have to be honest, this seems a bit gimmicky. In fact, I'm not sure I would even call this security software. Besides, what the heck am I going to do with the thief's phone number? Call him up and ask him to return it to me?? Even if I call the provider and have them disable his SIM, he still has my device with all the data on it intact.

I realize y'all are gushing over it so you can get a free copy but...

A phone # could be traced to a name. Unlikely but possible...

I like the fact that this survives a hard reset, however, although I have yet to install it I am a little concerned as to how easy it would be to uninstal if I decide I don't want it?

I'd quite like to see a feature that would lock hard reset the phone on receipt of a user-defined SMS from me and then somehow lock the phone so it could not be used without some type of user-defined text entry or key combination.

I DONT like the fact that the application resists a HARD reset. What if I NEED to do a hard rest?

I like that it will sms/txt msg me !!

I Dont like the coy protection system. What if there is a bug in the program and it fails. Potential for disaster!

Treat us customers as "Customers" not Thieves.

Default Theft Alert

I love the idea of the SMS upon SIM card exchange. I also agree with those who have suggested GPS tracking as well.

After the investment of a full featured phone (like a TyTN) it would be nice to have some insurance other that a screen protector and a silicon case. It is great that the developer is thinking of these sorts of issues.
