Default Win A Free Copy Of TileLander And Save The Universe!

Sometimes all it takes to spark my interest in a game for my Pocket PC is a colorful, unique description from the developer. Ludimate offers just that in its depiction of its TileLander game:

"Save Tileland from the invasion of the evil Xyzon empire by filling tile areas and using special items such as generators, remote controls and blasts to complete level after level. Tileland is a fun game that can be played as puzzle, with careful thinking behind every move, or in a furious wipe-them-all urge! It's up to you how to play. Over 70 delicious levels..."

I'm not exactly sure what a "delicious" level is, but I'm intrigued!

You can grab a free demo or buy the full version for $15.95 here. OR... You can enter to win a free copy that Ludimate is giving to TEN lucky Pocket PC Thoughts readers! We'll randomly select the winners from among those who adhere to these "strict" guidelines:

• Go to the Tilelander demo page and click on the "Click To Play Video" button on the screenshot image. Then, post a reply to this thread and mention at least one feature of the game that makes you want to jump in and zap a Xyzon.
• You may enter only ONCE (e.g., one post); anyone providing proof of Xyzon citizenship may enter twice.
• All entry posts must be received by 12:17am EST on February 1, 2007.

Good luck!

UPDATE: The winners of this giveaway are dlindman, CUShane, blazingwolf, fishboy, welmoed, yvilla, eleon, k1darkknight, hogger_jeff and tarquix!

If one of those ten usernames belongs to you, check the inbox you've registered with us during the next couple of days for further instructions on how to claim your prize. If you didn't win this time around, the folks at Ludimate have STILL got your back! For a limited time, you can get TileLander at a 40% discount using this special link.

A big "gribnoltvxznib" goes out to everybody who entered this contest (That's Xyzon for "Thanks" and/or "You've parked on my foot.")! We especially appreciate Ludimate's sponsorship of this great giveaway -- in which nearly half of the entrants won a free license and everybody else gets a huge discount!

This looks like a great combination of more than a few puzzle / action games and I like what looks like a wide variety of enemies / obstacles and the unique ability to control the direction of the little... uh... +bombs...

The adventure aspect also looks unique (rather than just a simple "clear everything" type of game)

Looks great!

Default Wow, this looks amazing

I think that this game looks amazing. I really like how the game is played, it looks very well designed. It seems that it is a combination of skill and strategy to pass each level. I would love to win a copy of this game.

I'm a big shoot em up kinda guy, but lately these kind of games are all...well, the same...I excited that they have merged this kind of game with something that will tax the brain as well.....!

It looks awesome 0X [/code]

I downloaded the demo. It has very smooth gameplay and the graphics are amazing! It makes you think about your moves in more non-conventional ways. It's a very good game.

The thing that most intrigues me about this game is that it looks like a strategic variant on the classic Jezzball game which was always one of my favorites. It looks like a lot of fun.

I like the fact that there are '70 delicious levels'. This should keep me occupied for quite some time. Very nice looking graphics!

That so reminds me of Qix. (Sherman break out the wayback machine) Wikipedia link if you don't know the game. I would really like to get this game based on that.

Very nice looking game! The best part is that you get to think while you play.
Nice job!

Qix with the ability to shoot your enemies, with side-scrolling action, puzzles, and over 70 levels of multi-chromatic fun. And that doesn't even scratch the surface! Trapping the little guys who are removing your carefully-laid tiles, different-colored tiles affecting your speed, and the arcade-quality look of the game make me wish this were not just a game for hand-helds.

Beautiful, fun, and challenging -- all of the things I want in a game. I'm looking forward to playing this for a long time to come.
