Okay, that's about all I can recall from my German classes back in high school. If, like me, you need to do better at translating between English and German, be sure to enter this Berlitz® giveaway being sponsored by Pocketland.net.

• Find the hidden word that means "...of or relating to words or the vocabulary of a language..." [Hint: Think about the kinds of word-search puzzles you've done before.].
• Send an e-mail describing where the hidden word is to "brad---put the real 'at' sign here---pocketpcthoughts.com," MAKING SURE TO INCLUDE THE WORD "BERLITZ" IN THE SUBJECT LINE. Do NOT post your answer to this thread; that would spoil the fun and make me surly.
• You must follow these rules exactly. Otherwise our Thoroughly Optimized and Automated Giveaway E-mail Sorter-Outer® will not work and you will initiate a tiny but significant rip in the time-space continuum (and who wants THAT on his conscience?).
• You may enter only once, using the e-mail address you've registered with Pocket PC Thoughts. Duplicate emails/entries will first be ridiculed and then deleted.
• Entries must be received by my inbox no later than 11:59pm EST on May 22, 2007. Winners will be randomly selected from among all correct entries.
• The decisions of the judge(s) are to be considered completely final and totally AWESOME.

Thanks, Matthew. The kind of brain that produces what you and I might consider "entertaining," though, is practically doomed to a lifetime of intense psychotherapy, behavioral therapy and aroma therapy (I'm partial to vanilla and jasmine.).

Oh, and I should mention this, too...
The references available to participants will not only be German, but also Italian, Spanish and French! So don't worry- you're not stuck with sauerkraut and wurst, but you also get pizza, paella or frogs' legs, if Teutonic gibberish isn't your bag.

Matthew, thanks for clarifying that the winners will get to select the language of their choice. I'm kinda glad I didn't understand that at first, because it took everything I could muster to pull together those few comments in German!
