Default Webcast on Connecting Your Pocket PC To The OutSide World Available For Download

http://www.microsoft.com/usa/webcasts/ondemand/1872.asp

The webcast on Connecting Your Pocket PC to the Outside World is available now for download. It is 13MB and lasts about 83 minutes. Thanks for all those that attended and for those that couldn't make it, now is your chance. They projected about 450 downloads. Let's see if we can put their server under a bit of stress.

Ed, I listened to your webcast and thougt you did a good job of getting the information over.

Obviously you had to do extra work because of the timing with the new operating system.

Anyone new to PPCs looking to get connected would be smart to download the presentation.

Hmm, I don't really like this interwise stuff...

The automatic downloading and running of the file doesn't seem to work on my system (I have the client software). It downloaded then deleted the file before it even loaded it into the client software (file is nowhere to be found after the download!).

How old were the children that wrote this rubbish? I tried a while back to view a webcast file and have never had any success.

Anyone got more mileage than me? Please help! Would love to see some webcasts...

Default PPC connectivity

Ed, thanks for the great information. This helps to ease the anticipation while waiting for my new iPAQ.

:?: I have read somewhere in HP documentation that they don't use the new PPC2003 WiFi stuff, but rather use their own. Is this correct? Is this good or bad news?

I enjoyed the presentation. Wish it had been available when I set up my Toshiba E-740 for wireless.

Ed, DO get a better microphone!!! Listen to the replay and you will see what I mean.

Isn't it "View This Event" on the right side?

That's not very intuitive - I knew the event was over, so I was looking for a "download" link.

This was an excellent presentation, Ed. I'm really looking forward to getting my Ipaq 2210 and having it work with my Linksys card in the very near future. Exciting stuff!
