Default Webcast: Connecting Your Pocket PC to the Outside World

http://www.microsoft.com/usa/webcasts/upcoming/1872.asp

"Are you interested in getting your Pocket PC online to either the internet or your corporate LAN? This is your opportunity to learn how to connect your Pocket PC using everything from a 56K Compact Flash Modem and a phone line to a Bluetooth enabled cell phone with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to get access to your email and other important information no matter where you are."

Update: The event is June 25 at 1:00pm Eastern Time, 10:00am Pacific Time and will last 90 minutes. I've met the presenter, and I can tell you, this guy is one sharp cookie!

Will this webcast use PPC 2002 or will it tantalise us with the delights of the new Connection Manager/Wizard in PPC 2003?

Kind of reminds me of a woman that my parents know. Almost every time they go over to her house to eat, she'll say, "Why these are the best ___ (whatever she's cooked) I've ever eaten, even if I do say so myself." It's become a running joke in our family.

Now, if at the end of the webcast, I hear Ed say, "This is the best Webcast I've ever heard, even if I do say so myself," I'll wonder if there's a family connection there somewhere!

Hey, I use BT daily with my Nokia 3650 cell phone. When it works, it is great. When it doesn't...

I sort of liken bluetooth to politics. It exists, it makes some things function better and others function worse or not at all, but really, the whole thing should be thrown out and redone with somethign that works better.

Please, let there be a God...

I don't want to have someone explain how to use the un-user friendly Connection Manager (a/k/a connection mangler)... yet again! I pray that this web event will help educate us on how to use the new PPC 2003 connection tools!!!

Family connection! Heck, it'll probably be Ed presenting, setting up, and asking himself questions in the audience!
