Default Want to Win a Bluetooth Headset? Help Darren Behan Celebrate his 100th Post!

Here's a type of message I love getting - someone who has benefited from the community we have here, and who wants to give back to that community. It doesn't get any better than this people! Here's what Darren has to say:

"I have been a big fan/daily visitor of the site and have gotten too much from it to detail here. To show my gratitude, I'd like to offer a little giveaway. Occasionally, I do reviews for PDABuyersGuide.com, most recently for a Gg02 bluetooth headset (yet to be published). Since I already have a BT headset that I am happy with and have 99 posts I'd like to offer the Gg02 (used only for testing) for free (less shipping over $20) to Pocket PC Thoughts members in honor of what would be my 100th post on Pocket PC Thoughts. "

Here are the ground rules: one post per person, no commenting on the posts of others. The post should contain the most helpful/useful bit of knowledge you've received from visiting this site: that might be a software tip, a hardware tip, or anything else related to Pocket PCs or technology (we always have some interesting off-topic discussions). At 5 PM mountain time on Monday, I'll close down the thread and randomly pick one winner from all those that posted. Have fun, and good luck!

From this site, I found most people here don't like POS, although I still own three Palm devices.

Been a daily visitor also, and with this site you are always in the know on what is coming out. And I do like being on the edge.

Before visiting this site, I had never bought any software for my Pocket PC. I figured the included apps were good enough. Boy was I wrong! I think I've spent close to $100 on Pocket PC software and through my Pocket PC Thoughts subscription - which has already "paid for itself" many times over. Rock on PPCT! :way to go:

I, too, have been a daily reader of PocketPC Thoughts (well, excluding some of the days I've been banned from computer x.x), and I must say, when I received my very first PPC last Christmas, I had absolutely no idea how to do anything or what type of softwares I could get. Now, my PPC is filled with awesome games, useful educational softwares, organizers, entertainments, books...all thanks to the very helpful members of PPCT. And, even if I get stuck on some parts, I know I won't worry because all I have to do is ask on this friendly forum.

Thank you so much everyone, and please keep up the excellent work! ^___^

P.S: This is an excellent idea, to gather up everyone's appreciative response to the hardworking teams of PPCT. 8)

I visit here almost every day and the thing I actually love the most is the feeling that I can personally contact some of the best minds dealing with the Pocket PC right now. It is so cool when a new program comes out and you read a post about it on Thoughts and, many times, the developer is a Thoughts member who you can ask questions and make suggestions to. How cool is that!

Default most helpful/useful bit of knowledge received

HP iPAQ 55xx product details and reviews at initial release time--when I actually had $$ to buy the device and wanted to make sure I spent the $$ on the right ppc for me.

thanks,
m.

Well here it is folks: My official 100th post (as referred to above). Not too impressive a number compared to a lot of other folks here but the most I think I've ever posted anywhere.

This site has been invaluable to me for tips, tricks, fixes and more. Thanks to all of you who have helped me in the past and kept my PPC humming along when I managed to screw it up (and curse you for making me love PPCs so much I have to keep buying new ones & cool software to go with them - has the XDA III been released yet??). Also, thanks to the Jason & the moderators; you guys & gals keep this site civilized especially when folks don't see eye to eye.

Good luck to all entrants ,

db
