"The TDS Recon is built tough to work where you do. It meets MIL-STD-810F military durability standards for vibration, drop, altitude and humidity, and its IP67 rating means it’s impervious to water and dust. So you can drop it, dunk it and use it in blazing heat, subzero cold or driving rain. Please answer our brief questions below for your chance to win a TDS Recon. Be sure to provide your name and email address, so we can contact you if you win!"
If you've been eyeing this unit for rugged applications, you might want to enter this drawing to win a free unit. 8) Unfortunately, this is only limited to participants from the US, but for those of you who are Americans, good luck!
Been eyeing a recon for quite a while. With the built in serial port, I can use my Garmin with it and mount it on my bike to use with Pocket Streets. When I get the bucks to purchase a CF GPS, if there are any made any more, I can use it.
Entered. And if I win, I will definitely drop it in my fish tank and post pictures on PPCT.
Only a fish tank?!

I'd expect pictures of it in the deep ocean, sitting on the stove, on top of Mount Everest, as well as strapped to your car's roof while driving through torrential rain.
