Default Spb Pocket Plus 4.0 Launch Contest

http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pro.../pocketplus/?en

Spb Pocket Plus 4.0 is fresh out of the gate, and they want to offer up a contest for Pocket PC Thoughts readers. The contest is very simple: jump over to the Pocket Plus 4.0 product page and pick the best feature for your needs. Is it the tabbed browsing? Smart scroll in contacts? The close button tap-and-hold to switch applications? Download the trial version if you want to check it out, pick your favourite feature, then post a message here (one message per person).

On Friday at 12 noon GMT -7, I'll randomly pick one entry, and that person will receive $100 worth of Spb software of their choice, and any one item that Just Mobile sells: perhaps a Bluetune Solo? Or a RoKy fabric keyboard? Any one product Just Mobile sells will be yours.

Tabbed Browsing - definitely. Now if it just had a better browser to run against.

Other than that, it's got a lot of items going for it - highly visible power meter, docking Today plugins inside its tabs, handy shortcuts for frequently used apps, the much needed "Close" function to replace the default "minimize" (yes, to any MS team members reading - if there are this many variations of "close" apps - we probably want that built-in to WM's OS ), the list goes on.

Great app and SPB really seems to do a good job making simple, practical apps that just work.

Smaller and faster... without a doubt the best feature of the new version. Of course, now that I've upgraded to an AT&T Tilt I have RAM to spare but for anyone running on a lower capacity device (like my old 8525) the smaller footprint is worth the upgrade price.

Tabbed Browsing is the best feature they are offering which I cannot get in any other third party application which also offers today plugin.

I would have to say that it would be the Smart Scroll, a the tabbed browsing a very close second. As for the whole app, it just rocks. They have added a lot of functionality to an already great utility.

I like the ability to add more today plugins to the PocketPlus tabs. But all of the other features of this upgrade are great also.

Tabbed browsing is great, and I really like smart scrolling, but the feature I use most, which makes it my favorite, is the close button. Yeah, other packages have this function too, but not with all the other neat goodies....

Default Tabs on the today screen

Stuffed with handy features for sure, but it's the ability to create the tabs on the today screen that makes it a killer app - I've got tabs for calendar, mail, etc and a bunch of different custom item tabs for the pile of software on my 8525 (now 6.0!) - This pretty much allows me to never need the file explorer
The only thing I'd wish for is to have it smart about storage cards, I've got a lot of custom item tabs pointing to apps on 2gb storage cards - if it could automatically show/hide tabs when all items were on a particular storage card that would be really awesome

Smart scrolling. I love the integrated diary features, but the smart scrolling makes my life happier.
