While the tabs mentioned before are nice, the PIE update supported multiple screens before, just not shown visually in tabs. The Today plug-in is improved and the ability to snap in other Today screens as well as seamless integration with other Spb apps is great. There is much more to talk positive about, but there is only one thing that jumps out as more innovative than what was already a good 3.x product.
The one feature I find indispensable that is very new is the ability to map press and hold buttons to new apps. It makes one-handed use of the phone significantly better than without it. So, on my Kaiser for example, press and hold the IE button brings up favorites... Press and hold the messaging button brings up compose new message. Press and hold the ok button near scroll wheel brings up the comm manager. Well, each person could do whatever they wanted with their buttons. Other apps have been available to purchase to do the same thing, but this is so tightly woven into the OS, that it seems like it is a part of what Microsoft provided.
