Default Well... Let's be honest here...

I have to tell you it's the safe mode feature.

I have been working very hard with 3 software vendors on a problem I am having with Today Screen Plugins and the new 4.0 release.

========== If you missed my posts search for recent topics by me.

Safe mode for a PocketPC phone is a must have option. I totally love it and it's been a valuable resource in resolving this issue. Because of the safe modes built in system awareness it knows when my phone is having issues and says, "Hey want safe mode?" and I'm thinking you bet I do!!!

Now admittedly the other parts of 4.0 are AWESOME, JUST TOTALLY AWESOME. I was drooling so bad I couldn't help but fall in love on site. Tabs in IE!!! Holy cats!!! SPB 4.0 is fantastic.

However, having that bail-out gear of "Safe Mode" is now my new best friend.

I've combined it with SPB Backup and I can now muck around with my phone with ZERO fear of the results. Safe mode let's me check things out and SPB Backup let's me find forgiveness from my sins.

I seriously doubt that anyone else is going to write about safe mode and especially write about how much they've used it and the value it brings to their phone since I run my business off my phone in ways that would baffle you.

Hopefully SAFE MODE gets me noticed as I'd love a $100 to spend at SPB my favorite application vendor.

So if you haven't checked out "Safe Mode" pick up a trial of SPB Backup then start screwing with your phone/PDA until you cripple it. Give SAFE MODE a thumbs up or I mean down as in down on your Today Screen when prompted and you'll be in Safe Mode.

Wanna know all there is to know about safe mode and ways to get into it just ask me. I'm the safe mode king! I'm so safe I don't wear clothes anymore thanks to Safe Mode.

Okay, there's my plug! Safe mode is my vote. But honestly, there's way too much in 4.0 to pick just one thing. It's a nifty upgrade and worth every cent you have.

- Rex (Would like to boot into Safe Mode) Winn!

Okay brave and fearless leader. You left me hangin'. What was his favorite feature? Can you post a quicklink to his reply?

I like both but I think the tabbed browsing is the most incredible cool addition. PKZIP ability is also great. Jez - it is simply the best.

Lots of great stuff, but the File Explorer is still ho hum. I much prefer the Advanced Explorer. It lets me see the file extensions and for long file names I can scroll to the right. The explorer in spb can't do that.

Default Tabbed Browsing Feature

Definitely the tabbed browsing. That's what we've been needing for a long time.

Smart Scrolling it has to be. Makes life so much easier, especially when fumbling for that little stick thing.

Default Spb Contest

Definitely the smart scrolling. It's amazing. Why couldn't someone else think of this earlier?
