Default Skweezer Browser Service Giveaway

http://www.greenlightwireless.net/s...es/skweezer.asp

We've posted a couple of times about the Greenlight Wireless Web Browsing service called "Skweezer." Skweezer is a service that allows PDA and SmartPhone users to dynamically reformat large-screen Web content for use on small-screen displays. The new features and functionality found in the latest version address two primary requests from Skweezer users: to increase page loading speeds and to provide greater control over the Wireless Web browsing experience.

In addition to a free 30-day trial, Greenlight has a new introductory price for Skweezer of only $9.99 per year. BUT...

Five Pocket PC Thoughts readers are going to get a free one-year subscription to Skweezer! In a few days we'll randomly select the five winners from among our registered Thoughts readers. , so make sure you're registered!

Other than the price, is this any better than Thunderhawk?

It actually works with any browser - it's "portable", unlike ThunderHawk.

It'll not do all the stuff TH does, but the idea is to translate the pages to a handheld friend fit, and try to reduce the download size.

The good stuff is that it can be used on Pocket PC, Palm, Smartphones (MS or Symbian) or any browser really.

I've posted a few screenshots and a comparison with a couple of other similar services on Geekzone.

This is the review on Geekzone. I didn't put before because of URL drop is not a good thing ops:, but I think the front page will have a link to it sometime soon.

Default skweezer and PC Thoughts

When I try to view pc thoughts with skweezer I get a server error. What's the issue?

I figured it out. In some cases the URL has to include http://. you can't just enter www.url
