Now if the items you listed in your post will change :-) i'd love to see the day when I walk in to a Best Buy or CompUSA and not see some person shown an PocketPC and not hear a sales person call it a palm-pilot. Geesh!

AFAIK XScale (or ARM4T) optimisations will be available in Pocket PC 2003 (Windows CE 4.2). Not sure about screen resolution, this would probably break a lot of existing software...

Ive seen some VGA devices, dunno if they will be part of ppc2k3 or some other CE ofshoot tough but there are pocket devices coming with 640by480 screens.
And damn fine screens they are I might add.
