Has anyone used this? What do you think? How does it compare to the "big guys"?

If you're looking for a cheap no-frills add-on to the built in apps this might be okay. It's really just adding different views to the current apps, I don't see a lot of additional functionality. It seems to use the built in applications editing functions. Doesn't add the ability to set a different reminder time on Tasks, for example.

I couldn't find an easy way to link a new task to a contact, like in AF or PI. In those apps I can simply tap and hold the contact and select "new task with". In this app I have to create the task and then link the contact through a separate window that appears to sort by category, even though the categories are not listed. Kind of a pain, if you have 500 contacts like I do.

I'd say to download and run the trial to see if it meets your needs. My needs are as much task as calendar oriented and it doesn't really add much in the way of tasks compared to the built-in app.

Keep in mind, though, right now it's only $5.00, so if you are looking for some enhanced calendar views on the cheap, this may work well for you.

Yep...I"ll second the above feedback. It has some nice views and seems to work well once its loaded up (the initial 'launch' is looooong). Once its up and running it works well.

For $5, its a great app if you don't have PI or AF yet, plus...free upgrades for life!

BTW...here's their hompage:

Interesting take on the application. Thanks whydidnt, I had never heard it described like that. I would in fact totally disagree, but... it opens my eyes to look at it in a different way. You keyed on a feature which is so simple I apologize for overlooking it. I guarantee the new item linking will be added in the next release. But the regular linking you are describing is almost exactly how PI and AF have and still handle linking.

I would describe it as a cheaper Competitor to AF and PI with a lot of the key features of the other two and more including:

* Enhanced Views
* Linking
* Schedule Category Filtering
* Search
* Contact Images
* Contact/Task Grouping
* Category Images and Colors
* Status Coloring
* Quick Entry
* Multi-Task Creation Options
* POOM Maintenance Options
* Etc...

We like to think we've added some functionality...

I will concede we still have a little more catching up to do in some areas, but our base application started out at about the same level as their third or fourth generation products, and has matured since...

We hope you give it a try... And if you like it, enjoy it at the Holiday Sale Price.... Happy Holidays!!

Sale Ends December 26th!

Sorry, no... You need a plugin for Active-sync to even support that, as Microsoft does not offer this...

I downloaded and checked this out. I like the improved views. I like the addition of a Journal tab, although I have never used it before so maybe I won't use it now either ;-)

The additional maintenance options are nice, and I like the extra linking features. The improved views for the carious calendar and contact details are very nice.

One problem - I used the Link to Hardware Keys options, but when I try to use them (e.g. press the Calendar or To Do keys) I get error message "Cannot find 'Start'..." and nothing launches.

Well worth $5, I look forward to seeing how this product grows!

Well not to beat a dead horse, but is there such a plug in and if so will this program than support the jornal function with Outlook?

I've been looking for something that does and the closest I have found is a plugin for PI, but the journal function in that program is not very good.
