Default Saturday Random Hardware Giveaway

Today is Saturday, which is typically the day of the week I spend in my office trying to re-organize the chaos that ensued earlier in the week. Coming off the heels of CES, there's far more chaos than normal, so it's extra work. Putting away the silly number of flash drives I received, I looked at my number of Pocket PC accessories and realized that some of the older hardware I'll simply never use. Since I know that Pocket PC Thoughts use a wide variety of hardware, old and new, I thought someone out there could make better use of this stuff than I could. So here's what I'm giving away:

From left to right, that's a CompactFlash Socket 802.11b WiFi card, a Secure Digital Socket 802.11b Wifi card, and a combo Sandisk 256 MB Flash + 802.11b WiFi card.

Want one of them? Here's all you have to do: the first person to post a message to this thread telling me which item they want (limit one per person), what device they have that they'll use it with, and why they want it - gets it. I don't think I have manuals or driver disks for these, so what you see is what you get - but I don't imagine it will be hard tracking them down. ;-)

UPDATE: Contest over! Thanks for participating everyone, you never know when I'll be giving away more stuff... ;-)

Default Here

This is the first time I was on quickly enough to take advantage of this. I have a samsung i830 and so need an SD wifi card to get online. However, I got one a few weeks ago. I won't have you send me one as that would just be taking it away from someone who might need it, but just wanted to be the first (or second) post.

WOW!!!

Thanks Jason. I can't wait to setup email, listen to some tunes, do some IMing, and reading pocketpcthoughts

I would love it - the wifi and memory card.

(the sandisk)

For Mio A701

Why - so I can use it at home with wireless router - and save stuff to the card as I have to take out the memory card to use wifi

Hope I am not too late

SD wifi card. No memory needed -- have CF card for that

Using it on Ipaq 2210. Going to use it so that I can listen to music or record lectures on my CF card (which has a faster I/O time) while surfing on my SD card.

EDIT: Gosh darnit...I think I'm 4th. Curse my slow internet...oh well!

I could definitely use the SD Wifi Card in my HP2210. I haven't been using my trusted friend as much since it doesn't have built-in WiFi. This would definitely breathe new life into the old girl.

Default Oh, man!

Man, I had to take my dog to the vet today, and I missed the giveaway. Well, at least the dog is okay.

Oh well, I'm still looking for a WiFi solution for my oldie but goodie iPaq 3955...

Wow I can't believe I was in time for this! I thought the first post wanted the SD card. But I guess I misread.

I am most likely to late, but I need a SD wifi card one with memory would be even better. I have a Sprint Pocket pc 6601 and I miss a lot of calls when I am getting email because of need to use the network instead of a wifi signal. This would allow me to use wifi first and only need the network when no wifi available.
Thanks Dan
