I was 10 when the movie came out (1977?). Everyone I knew had seen it and since we did not go to the movies that much I was dying! Finally we went to the drive in to see it (we got there late) and I was just blown away!
Still a great movie to this day and my kids (5 & 7 years old) love the original 3 movies.

I was 7 years old. My parents took me, and my dad bought me popcorn. He tells the story of how I was so amazed at the movie, I never ate the popcorn. He says my jaw was dropped the whole time, and he put a piece of popcorn in my mouth! I'm now a long time fan.

Well I don't want to think that far back, how old was I, however I'd say I was likely under 10. I've seen them all, and enjoyed every moment of the movies. You remember the toys released after the movie, I had one the spaceship Han Solo (Harrison Ford) was manning, if the name is correct its called the Millennium Falcon. I wasn't very nice to some of my toys, which explains why my kids didn't inherrit that one. The memories eh!
What I always looked forward to and liked about the movies, were those cute, tiny and mischievous Ewoks! Of course the rest of the movies were entertaining from start to end, I just like cute things!

I am not that old, but I do remember seeing Star Wars for the first time when I was about 8 (I think it was the 6th one)

My earliest Star Wars memory was getting an Ewok "action figure" for Christmas as a young kid. I remember being jealous of my friend that got the Millenial Falcon set. I can't remember how old I was when I first saw the original movies. I may have seen Return of the Jedi during its original theatrical release. I would have been too young to see Empire Strikes Back in the theatres, and I don't think I was even born at the time A New Hope came out.
I was a huge lego fan as a kid. Legos were one of the only toys I cared about for several years. I spent coutless hours building space stations and castles along with my cousin. This game would bring back great memories.

I don't remember exactly when it was, but I think I saw the toys before I saw any of the movies. The first movie I remember seeing was Return of the Jedi and I think I saw the others after that, probably on broadcast TV or something similar. Still, the original trilogy (parts 4-6) was great and I still have a love for the series, despite episodes I and II.
As for the Lego aspect, I still think the Lego sets for Star Wars are pretty cool. Something about putting together tons of little tiny pieces to make an X-Wing or the Millennium Falcon.

Lego II
I am old enough to have seen the first one. Five kids later... I'm in. I'm sure my kids will enjoy it

I was about 10 years old and my uncle was visiting and he took my sister and I to see it. There was a line at the little downtown theater (actually, one of TWO downtown theaters we had at the time in Merced, CA. This one was, remarkably, the smaller of the two.)
I was blown away by the effects and how real everything looked compared to Star Trek of which I was already a big fan.
I know that I ended up seeing it a few more times in the theater, the first time I had ever watched a movie more than once, but I don't remember clearly the repeat viewings. I think the second one was with my parents who I practically dragged to the theater to see it.

Star Wars memories
I saw the movie when I was 7 and it set the course for 10 (30?) years of play. I didn't really understand the movie plot, but I got completely sucked into that world.
After the movie came out, I remember hearing the Star Wars theme on the local classical station. After that, I would sit outside with the radio for hours hoping that they would play the theme song. Every so often they would, and I'd be carried back to the movie theater and into that world. People probably thought it was strange for a 7 year old to be carrying around a radio tuned to a classical station.
