I remember seeing the original when it came out way back in the '70's.

I FEEL OLD

I saw the first Star Wars in the Odean cinema in Darlington,, England. I was just turned 11. The hype about the movie had been huge. I remember being blown away by the music, the special effects. I remember being sad at the end ... because the movie was finished.

I was hooked on space and science fiction. Thanks :-)

I stayed away from the hype of episode IV until it came to the discount screens (remember those?) then suddenly I knew what everyone was worked up about. Saw the rest as soon as they came out.
My 13 year old has been to the three new ones with me and has seen the others. First we wore out VHS copies and now we have the DVDs.

Watched them as a kid and had many of the action figures. Good memories.

I remember going to see Star Wars when I was 15 with my youngest brother in 1977. We had to stand the whole time since there were no more seats.

I still haven't watched all Star Wars movies. I was nine I think when I watched the entire star wars movie (Ep II), though it was in English with Lithuanian subtitles.

In 2003 when my English improved enough I've watched all the newer Star Wars movies. One day I need to sit down and enjoy Episodes IV and VI.

I rememeber being very young. I was taken by my father to see Return of the Jedi for my birthday. It was great! Much better than my memory of being taken to see E.T. which creeped me out beyond belief and still does to this day, LOL!

I remember being just amazed and absorbed by the Star Wars story and having a great time with my dad. Just he and I. Even so young it's one of my most vivid childhood memories.

Afterward, I was taken to a nearby park where my dad bought me ice cream and I ran around playing.

To this day, Return of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie and the best birthday gift I received as a child because it allowed me to dream and journey into space to a galaxy far, far away...

Man, I was five. I hadn't seen it in the theater yet and we got an audio cassette recording of it. I listened to that thing until it broke (it came with the official storybook).

I remember when I finally saw the movie, I was shocked to find that when "this red one has a bad motivator," and C-3PO recommend the blue one. "Hey, how about that blue one," says Uncle Owen, "we'll take that one." I had thought they were talking about spaceships...not droids.

That started a lifelong passion of movies, books, comics and colectables that is still with me today.

Default Star Wars

Well I am old enough to say that I saw all 6 of the movies at the theatre. I was a teenager when they started. I think 15 or 16. I own the entire set on DVD. I remember how Lucas invented alot of movie technology to do what he wanted in the movies.

I would like to see him remake the original 3 with todays technology.
