Default Proporta Contest Winners Selected

http://www.proporta.com

Remember that crazy Proporta contest we had a couple of weeks ago? Well, the winners have been picked, and instead of just picking one winner, the generous people at Proporta have selected three winners: Gary B. Garland, Clinton Slaughter and Max Donaldson. Way to go! The three winners will get to pick any single item off the Proporta site other than Pocket PCs and card scanners. I hope someone goes for this lovely Roadwired bag - it looks awesome!

So what was the right answer? It took some sleuthing to find the most expensive item on their site, but those of you who picked the million-pound Big Cat Hunting Stilts got it right! This picture explains everything. This item was found by going into Other Devices > Windows > PC Hardware Devices.

Big thanks to Proporta for putting on this contest for Pocket PC Thoughts readers!

Hmm - I had thought Proporta would have contacted the winners already. Maybe they were giving me the fun of surprising the winners! No matter, I'll ask them to contact you. Congratulations!

Ditto.
Yippee - I"m really a winner. I"m not a loser. See that world! And all I had to do was pray to the proporta gods.
Geez, was just looking at the site - everything is awesome - i think I'll go for those stilts - i can probably get twice as much on e-bay!
That bag does look awesome - uh, Mr. Proporta, can I have that bag please? It looks big enough to hold all the nice things I'll say about Proporta!
Yippee! PPCThoughts Rulez!

Sweeeet! I never win anything! I wonder how much spam I've accumulated over the years by entering stupid on-line contests? Thanks Proporta and thanks PPCThoughts!

What's somewhat scary is the fact that I believe they'll actually let you go through the checkout page to purchase those stilts. I got to the credit card info and stopped just short when I realized the credit limit on my Visa was about $990,000 short of what I needed.
