On that page (http://promo.pocketgear.com/summerSale/pocketgear.html), it says Checklist is free today...I've gotten through almost all of the checkout without actually buying it, and it still wants to charge me $19.99. Any idea to get it for free?

Good point - I'm seeing the same thing. I'll ask...

I downloaded it already for free. You have to go all the way through the checkout process, and on the last page before you actually hit submit, the discount shows up. It's at the bottom of the form.

The one negative for non PocketGear members is that you do have to sign up and give your CC#, even though nothing is charged.

Yes, that's correct...I just signed on and downloaded the Checklist software. You give them your credit card and the coupon shows up on the last page of the checkout process.
Great deal though! I'd been looking for a list program. Bookmarked that site and will check back daily for the freebies and discounts! Thanks for posting this topic.

Aha! Got it. Strange that they ask for CC# for free software. :worried:

Just out of curiosity (and so I can feel bad), does anyone know what we missed out on for free the first three days?

I don't think the card is even processed. I entered an expired cc number and had no problem checking out.
Yesterday, PPCDesktop was a free software of the day. (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=1014) I didn't bother to "buy" it though since I don't see I use it.

If you also have PalmOS units or read ebooks using eReader, check out following links as well.
