The Pocket PC Thoughts Give-Away 2003 Is Over!
Well, I think Pocket PC Thoughts set records in just about every category yesterday - we had about $5,500 in giveaways . I hope all of you enjoyed the fun and games, and I can speak for the team when I say that, cheating, server crashes, and other quirks aside, we enjoyed being able to bring this event to you. The poor machine got the stress test of its life yesterday 8O Winners will be announced and notified over the next few days (the contests vary in ease-of-selection, which made it impossible to do everything last night). Everyone who participated yesterday - make sure your email address is correct and up-to-date, otherwise you won't get the details on how to claim your prize if you're a winner. Hopefully, it'll all be finished by Monday. Thanks go out to a bunch of people for making this happen: - Our generous vendors: Developer One, Mastersoft Mobile Solutions, Spb Software House, Griffin Technology, Fonix, Game Energy, Creative Engineering, Laridian, Web Information Solutions, revolution.cx, Ilium Software, Textware Solutions, JKRB Software, PhatWare, Two Peaks Software, and, last but not least, PPCT reader szamot. Their overwhelming support is what allowed this event to exist in the first place, and whether or not you won, check out their websites - many of them have free software, trials and discounts. (You can all be winners!
)
- The Pocket PC Thoughts team (which, as some of you guessed, is exactly 10 people) - especially Brad Adrian and Ed Hansberry, who set up most of the contests and are now faced with the massive task of doling out the prizes, and obviously Jason Dunn, who came up with the original idea and gave up his holiday today to keep the server running smoothly. :werenotworthy:
- And, of course, you, our dear readers and posters. Keep on participating, and if you have other contest ideas, feel free to submit them to us via the news link above. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that we'll be holding contests every week.

Happy new year, everyone!
