Most important thing is a browsing experience as good or better than Iphone.I would love the whole ui to be more finger friendly, including 3rd party apps.

on top of the usual browser and UI wants, I'm thinking tabbed browsing including all apps (i.e. tabs in tray for running apps) with drag and drop capabilities between applications for files, links, etc! Gestures like in opera desktop for next page, close page, new tab, etc would also be appreciated. one can only wonder though!

Let's start with very basic improvements:

1. Calculator
The build in calculator is outdated. It's been the same ugly useless calculator for as long as I use a PPC.

2. Clock
The alarm is not reliable. The interface is ugly. Only three events can be set for the alarms. No support for MP3. Basically, you can't get uglier than what's available now.

3. Phone Profiles
This is pretty much now a standard even on a dumb phone. Surprisingly it's not even build in on the latest and greatest PPC Phone. A profile with outlook integration will be superb.

4. The Program launcher Page
HTC has done a great job with the TouchFlo 3D. However, when you pass that, the WM interface is outdated. The Program launcher page is dull. Put a life into it. Let users customize the icons, backgrounds, fonts, colors etc.

If I have only one wish for fixing in WindowsMobile 7: Fix Syncing / WMDC including bringing back backup, wireless sync and more control about what is sync (I belong to the minority that actuially liked the latest AS 3.x versions but WMDC is a really a big step in the wrong direction: flaky, adds a lot eyecandy while worsening the UI, ...)

Another things to fix:
- improve IE (especially compatibility and speed!)

- Introduce a way of providing updates that is really usable. It really is anoying to have a new phone and no way of getting updates (this is the one thing I really like on the iPhone) - and if only by reinstalling everything. I really don't understand why an update to ie needs to be aproved by carriers and device makers.

- make it cool with a smooth 3D UI and more fingerfrindly (personally I don't mind, I still want a good keyboard and stylus support but in order to be a relevant player in the market this has to be adressed)

- As a developer I'd really appreciate a on-device application store that shows users what cool software there is for their phone (I think this of the android way, not the Apple way with their creepy control-mania)

i would like win mo 7 to come with spb pocket plus and opera mobile preinstalled so microsoft doesnt need to develop something that already exists, but instead pay money and help these developers to enhance more their products

So in order of importance, I would like:>>

1. a good browser that actually allows you to see what you are looking at without having to scroll around the screen
2. Connection open to other OS's such as linux or MAC
3. Syncing through WIFI
4. Ability to backup the system/registry without extra tools or programs

Theres really only one answer to this, a consistent and cohesive touch input interface that doesn't require a stylus!

Please let WM7 be much faster as WM6. That's what I would prefer.
