Default PIM's a Breeze with PocketBreeze – And It Just Got Better!

http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/...6&productType=2

"PocketBreeze - a Today screen plug-in for Pocket PC devices allowing you to view appointments, tasks, and with the new version 4.2 also email accounts status directly on your Today screen. Giving you a more intuitive interface to manage your daily agenda with up to 30 days agenda display, appointments and tasks in a joint display, advance tasks management and your contacts' birthdays and anniversaries. PocketBreeze integrates seamlessly with Agenda Fusion, Pocket Informant, and the default PIM."

PocketBreeze has long been regarded as one of the major PIM plugins out there, and definitely adds pizzazz to any Pocket PC screen. So the new update released by SBSH should definitely not be ignored. PocketBreeze 4.2 improves the rich features already offered in 4.1, and now adds support for email accounts! Another major feature enhancement is an architectural change to the interface which makes the program work faster than before.

However, the extraordinary contributions of SBSH does not stop there! SBSH have kindly offered to give 5 free licences of PocketBreeze 4.2 to Pocket PC Thoughts readers. So how am I going to run this contest? Easy! Since Christmas is approaching, I want you to post on how PocketBreeze will help make your Christmas (or someone else's) a great one. Your thoughts can be funny, serious, or outrageously weird. I'm looking for anything that will make my bedtime reading an exciting one! The competition will close on December 6, 2004 at 12:00PM PST. The winners will be decided by me and will be notified via their registered account's email address, so be sure it's up to date.

PocketBreeze has got to be one of the most awesome programs available. Combine it with WA2 and everyone who looks at my PocketPC just drools! It's really that cool!

I have 7 brothers and sisters, on my side of the family alone. I see my family once a year. I need PocketBreeze to make sure I spend the same amount of time with everyone. I have not had a Christmas in the past 5 years that I did not upset someone.

On the days leading up to Christmas, I find myself swamped with second year legal finals as well as structuring a concurrent Master's degree program. I also am securing funding for an overseas internship doing international economic development legal work. I have christmas presents to buy and trips to Chicago and New York planned. I have a thesis to begin as well as an article to be published - to say the least I am busy.

Now, as for the entertaining story about PocketBreeze's role in this madness. As an impoverished student barely subsisting on loans, Christmas will be sparse. I am married so the mere thought of buying myself some pocket pc software produces tremors of fear. I am still trying to live down the purchase PI 4.6 (can't spring for the upgrade for a while) and my subscription to this site (as if my productivity isn't worth it (it would help if I became more productive)).

Anyways, I love to have tasks on my today screen and have been using the last free release of PIToday for a while now, but it just doesn't do what I need it to do. As a self-diagnosed Type-A, obsessive compulsive person I need to see all of my tasks and all of my appointments often. On my 1910 it takes to long to turn on the unit, let PI fire up and browse my tasks. I must have them on the today screen. I have tried pocketbreeze and loved it - so much customization and a nice format. However, the trial has expired and I am left with a hollow feeling of what could be.

I don't know if this rambling odyssey through my stresses and wishes was entertaining Christmas reading, but know that you can be the bright spot in my life, and on my today screen if PocketBreeze came home to me for Christmas.

due to my father being overseas in Operation Iraqi freedom, we email almost everyday. being a student at a school with a wireless network, i am able to get online with my iPAQ rx3115. it is very challenging for me to read the emails he sends me. this program will also allow me to deal with my heavy homework load and full schedule. Thank you to SBSH for giving out these copies and to PPCT for having this contest! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Default PocketBreeze Convenience

PocketBreeze will help complicate my PocketPC Today Screen with ALL the information that I am normally able to ignore with the built in PocketPC functions. Perhaps I don't want to do anything around Christmas, but I still want to own the coolest PocketPC and software!

*PDA Christmas Song*

Dashing through the stores
With my trusty PDA
Through the check-out we go
Cursing all the way.
My alarm reminder rings
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to organize and sing
A Pocket PC song tonight.

chorus: PocketBreeze, PocketBreeze
You help to save the day,
Oh what fun it is to see
My appointments all displayed, O
PocketBreeze, PocketBreeze
You're just a scroll away,
Oh what fun it is to keep
My crazy schedule under bay.

Default I want a PocketBreeze 4.2 for Christmas

PocketBreeze 4.2 would be ideal for keeping up with wife, four children, one foster child, and my current three jobs during the Christmas season. It would be great for organizing my shopping list and scheduling shopping trips around all my other commitments.

So, to the tune of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" here's my plea.

I want a PocketBreeze four-point-two for Christmas
Only a PocketBreeze four-point-two will do
Don't want a game or other organi-i-zer
I want a PocketBreeze four-point-two to use and enjoy

I want a PocketBreeze four-point-two for Christmas
"I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you?"
He won't have to bring it down our chim-i-ney flue
He can just send it on through you

I want a PocketBreeze four-point-two for Christmas
Only a PocketBreeze four-point-two will do
No accessories or other organizers
I only like PocketBreeze 4.2-zers
And PocketBreeze 4.2-zers like me too!
