Default Nokia 3650 Bluetooth GPRS Phone Giveaway by Spb Software House

When I was down at the Handango Summit representing Spb Software House, I happened to win a Nokia 3650 phone in a contest at the end of the event. Spb Software House has generously agreed to let me give away the phone in a contest right here on Pocket PC Thoughts! Let's ignore the fact that it runs the "other" operating system - it's a GPRS phone with a built-in camera, and makes a good Pocket PC companion with Bluetooth. Just ask Ed!

So here's the deal: send an email message to nokia3650@pocketpcthoughts.com with the number of applications that Spb Software House has on their Web site and your Pocket PC Thoughts username. The contest will run until Friday the 8th of August 2003 at noon MST, at which point in time we'll announce the winner. Anyone is eligable to enter, as long as you're registered in our forums (hey, it's free!).

The phone comes right from Nokia, so I'm assuming that it's not SIM locked, but I haven't tested this myself. The phone is brand new, but comes as-is with no promises.

UPDATE: Please do NOT change the subject line! There's a reason why I pre-filled it, because it makes the emails much easier to spot. We'll also ship this anywhere in the world, compliments of Spb Software House. It might take a while to get to you though. Subscribers still need to enter this contest by sending in an email, since it's not a true random drawing from a group, there's a trivia question that you need to get right.

You should probably disable the discussion forum to prevent someone from spoiling the giveaway and posting the number. It's not very good marketing efforts if it's circumvented.

That, and I'm not sure what there is to comment on, besides this is really cool. See? There, I made the only comment that's to be expected.

Sweet! Is that the color of the actual phone?

Send a message via MSN to PlayAgain?

That's a really cool gift to be giving away!

The keypad is the only thing that lets this phone down and it is certainly more snappy than my SPV (I know, my friend has a 3650). It's just the keypad man! Roll on the 6600!

To Sergical Shack: The colours are interchangeable with different face plates.

That is a great giveaway. I've been trying and failing to justify getting one of these or an SE616 for a while.

As a subscriber, is this one of the contests that I'm automaticaly registered for, or do I have to email in my answer as well?

I think you still have to email the answer.
