Default More CeBIT Pics, Including HTC Universal Comparison Pics

PocketCenter.de is completely on the forefront when it comes to CeBIT pictures. They managed to snag their hands on a HTC Universal (MDA IV) and held it up to a HTC Blue Angel for size comparison.

It's a little bigger, but not bad -- I certainly wouldn't mind if someone were to hand it to me. You can see more pictures of new Pocket PC Phones (including a side comparison shot of the Universal) in this gallery. Some other peripherals, including a very small SDIO WiFi card, are in this gallery, and finally, a preview of the Acer n20 is available here. Man, I wish I were at CeBIT.

Having seen this picture, I have to agree with others that don't like that way it looks.

The hinge looks terrible and it seems like someone layed it on its side before the plastic cooled.

No, I think this will actually make it to market.

I would like to get my hands on one and look at it before rushing to judgment. I have the Sprint 6601 and love it....... so it would have to be pretty great to pull me away from it!

Too big? How can this combined with a bluetooth headset be too big? This is the dogs bollocks. If no one picks it up over here, I'll have to get one from the UK.

A littl chunky for holding it to the ear, but, hey, I can live with that no porblem. But the wife WILL detest it being in my pocket or clipped to the belt due to size.

Ok, I had the same reaction to the Motorola MPx, but I've completed my therapy, and I hope to see this actually materialize in the US. I love my PPC-6601, and if this is a 6601 with a swivel screen, a decent camera, and better keyboard then I may have to give up a kidney to get one.

If it were a tad smaller it would be perfect. The look of the hinge just makes it look abnormal to some degree.

It still will be hard to beat in terms of functionality and pure VGA goodness though...

As long as you can use it with a bluetooth headset and its pocketable I dont care how big it is. Furthermore there is no exposed screen, so you could actually contemplate using this without a case, making it a lot smaller and thinner than most pocketpc's.

If there is no showstoppers (and I have not seen one yet) this is the best pocketpc in the world so far.

I have the siemens sx66 now and love it. This one looks even better! I do admit that the hinge makes it a little wide for my liking. The sx66 is way narrower than any ipaq i've ever held. I like that when holding it up to my ear. Just feels better. So seeing these pictures now i know that the device is about the same hight as my sx66 and not any wider than my 2215. So if it ever makes it to the USA i will get one.
