If you're in the UK, there are some Microsoft events coming your way soon!

"Club Pocket PC is coming to London! During the week of the Mobility Developer Conference, Club Pocket PC will be hosting a UK Pocket PC User Group meeting! We hope that all Pocket PC fans who can make the trip to London will join us for what is sure to be a great event The Uk Pocket PC User Group meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at the Hilton London Metrepole beginning at 7PM and ending at 9PM.

Beth Goza, Marketing Manager for Microsoft Mobile Devices will be demonstrating the new Pocket PC Phone Edition XDA, the Hewlett Packard 928, and a sneak preview of Smartphone 2002! At the meeting there will be food, beverages, and plenty of prizes so please join us on Tuesday, April 16th. There is no requirement for entry to this meeting, just show up ready to have some fun and learn about Microsoft Mobile Devices. For directions, please go to to this site and click on Travel.

The next night, Wednesday, April 17th Club Pocket PC will be hosting in conjunction with the Mobility Developer Conference a Pocket PC Fan Fest area at The Bridge, doors opening at 6:30PM. Fun Fan Fest activites will take place including games, giveaways, and getting to know other Pocket PC users. Don't forget, Pocket PC required for entry. (Please note, MDC attendees will be required to show their badge in lieu of a Pocket PC Device) There will be prizes awarded for folks who have traveled the furthest distance to attend the party - so don't be afraid to hop on a train or in your car to join in the fun! Registration for the Fan Fest will be up on the web site shortly, so please check back soon!"

From what I understand, it's only the Mobility Development Conference that will cost you your mortgage. For us mere mortals, the User Group meeting and the Club Pocket PC get together are free entry.

and when i read on the website, i thoughts it say it is on the 17 and 18 of April, there is nothing mention on the 16, what really going on? just abit confuse...

Great, but a bit short notice. I've been waiting for something like this for ages, but getting time off work is not easy when it's in less than 2 weeks

Would have been great to meet up with fellow UK Pocket PC people!
