Default MEDC 2005 Bill Gates Keynote Now Available for Viewing

http://www.microsoft.com/events/exe.../billgates.mspx

"At the Microsoft Mobile & Embedded Developers Conference in Las Vegas, Bill Gates' keynote will focus on the company’s long-term development strategies for mobile applications and embedded operating systems."

If you want the scoop on Windows Mobile 5, check out the keynote from the big man himself, Bill G. I delayed posting on this until now because the feed wasn't available until now - it was live at 9 AM, then it took them a few hours to prepare the feed it seems. I could have sworn Windows Media Encoder had a "live record" button. ;-) If you want to consume the video feed on your Pocket PC, here are some direct links: 56 Kbps | 100 Kbps | 300 Kbps.

It's up now, and it's pretty darn cool. The koisk idea is pretty sweet, but I don't see it popping up in retail stores or anything.. All you gotta do is skip past Bill Gates each time and you'll see how all the devices work in a matter of 20 minutes instead of sitting through it the whole hour. This includes the HTC Universal and Samsung I300. Very cool stuff.

It looks HORRIBLE. What the heck? 320 x 240 isn't bad, 640 x 480 would be better, but the 300 kbps looks ghetto. I expected more. :?
