Whenever HTC "invites (someone) to save a date and reserve a front row seat" in London, there's bound to be something significant announced on said date. What's in store for us on May 6? Well, a new wave of innovation is promised, but that itself is pretty vague. Perhaps it's the rumoured Diamond or Raphael, a new Shift, or a solution to global warming? We'll find out soon enough.

Expect more mediocre, poorly implemented and grossly underpowered devices with QVGA screens, powered by so-called "dual core" all on one chip Qualcomm garbage. Unfortunately, despite all that their sales willstill be strong because we don't have much of a choice, especially here in the US and on CDMA.
Hopefully it will be a high end Smartphone or Pocket PC. I'm starting to get a little bored with HTC's constant revamping of older hardware.
I do have my fingers crossed though. It wasn't to long ago that HTC was on top of the Smartphone world and created some of the greatest handsets that made us all fall in love with the Windows Mobile platform.

It's not just you. HTC has basically been redoing the slider and the tabletphone for quite awhile. No clamshells, no flipphones, nothing really inventive. They haven't even been doing their evolutionary upgrades that well: Samsung produces better hardware with nicer build quality than I see out of HTC these days.
Yeah, I'm 99% sure it will be the first of HTC's gPhones. The funny thing is, when I first started playing with Android via the emulator, I was incredibly excited for the new operating system but lately, everything I have been reading about the OS has been pretty yawn worthy.
