How come all forums (fora ?) have the same user interface for registering the user, submitting the reply etc? Excuse my ignorance but is there some sort of forum-builder freeware technology which is in use?

Do you see that text at the bottom of the page that says "Powered by phpBB 2.0.4 © 2001, 2002 phpBB Group"? Click the link there and see what happens. :-)

You probably can. That's what Microsoft Passport and the Liberty Alliance Project are for. You'd just need to convince the board owners to use those services. :-)

Yeah and a few $$$$. I don't know what Liberty wants for "membership" but we looked into MSFT's deal and it was obvious they weren't into little guys like us. |
