A few days ago, we announced a fun little giveaway based on readers trying to guess exactly how many pockets I have among all of my beloved SCOTTeVEST clothes. We got about 80 guesses, and some were VERY close, but there was only one that was closer than all the others.



In the end, it was MBaas who came the closest with his estimate of 182 pockets. For his efforts, MBaas will be receiving a brand new SCOTTeVEST Classic Vest in the size and color of his choosing!

Oh, and what was the correct answer? Here's the official tally:

tell me if im wrong but 182 is 3 from the correct number, and backpackerx with his guess for 187 is just 2 from the correct number, so shouldnt he be the winner?

Hey, somebody actually whined for me! rock on. Yeah, I didn't post cause I was pretty sure that it was closest without going over but man, did I get excited for a minute. Congrats Mbaas.

I hope this isn't considered whining, but I'd venture that the windshirt actually has seven pockets:

1) obvious pocket #1
2) obvious pocket #2
3) obvious pocket #3
4) right zipper closed, left one open, leaving a largish pocket on the left side
5) left zipper closed, right one open, leaving a largish pocket on the right side
6) both zippers open, creating one big external pocket
7) the pocket inside created by the fabric used for the other pockets
