yes but NoteToSelf in itself does not say whether you are sending your voice. Ppl could think you are sending text notes to email (which people have been doing anyway)

Actually, "note to self" is what you say to yourself (often jokingly) when you make a mental note for the future. Like "note to self: don't eat yellow snow" or something. It's a known expression, if my contemporary English doesn't fail me... :-)

I've been playing with the prefixed "e" as well and came up with "eGo. It's like talking to yourself". Unfortunately that name is a bit too terse and provides very little info about the nature of the product, which brings us back to the original problem.

I think this is a great product idea. I didn't even know it existed!

I guess I had heard the name and the function of the program escaped me with the name.

I submitted:

Dictamail
eMINDER
eVoicemail.

I like eMINDER the best. It isn't very descriptive, but with the right tag line, I think it would work well. "eMIND your self with a quick voice note, sent to your own email address"
