I just stumbled on SplashData's official promo page, so I've since updated the title-wrapped link of this post.

To anyone who uses this program, where and/or how does it store the data? My current app stores its data in a system database. But it will export to csv or what ever. I would like on that stores to a file database that i may just copy off my device.
Is it still the same stupid PPC version that had NO SEARCH feature 8O ?!!
I had purchased this on the Sony P900 (Symbian) system as eWallet was not out for that device. It was really slow, and yeah, there was no SEARCH feature which made it a problem.
I'll grab a copy for the PPC as I have a PPC now and check it out

It is stored in a database that is synced back to the desktop. It can be exported, in the desktop version, to a csv.

It does have a search. It has run very fast on my old palms and on my 4155 and my x50v.

AT LAST!!
They forgot 8O to put a search feature on other platforms, most probably because this was first developped on the PalmOS which has a device wide search feature.
I sent them an email a while ago asking about the missing option and they said indeed it didn't have one  and would consider adding one in a later release.
It's the same lacking version that was available for a while.

Hmmm.. only export from the desktop. I guess that's one way to get you to buy it...
I guess i'll stick with Passman. It's free and he is working on a desktop sync. Not that i will use desktop sync. I want software that is totaly pc independent.
