Okay, what am I missing? I entered all the necessary information, selected my ppc (IPAQ hx2495), got the Confirmation page, and clicked on the Download link. From there I selected Download CAB for the Desktop and was sent to the Professional for Palm OS page. I went back and selected the Download EXE and was sent to the same page. Is the Download for PPC purchase hidden somewhere on that page and I'm missing it?
I found the same thing too. It's dumb, but you'll have to fill in all that information to get the demo copy. I supposed that's how they want us to download it. The email should have sent us to a direct download link instead.
Curiosity killed the cat. Curiosity about this product killed my afternoon.
I feel like I need to hard reset and then take a shower after trying this product. This free offer is like free advertising for actually PURCHASING Pocket Informant.
Thanks, however, to PPCT for making offers like this available. We all win in the end, despite some bumps along the way.
Worst part is on the HTC-Touch when I pop the keyboard up to type a description on an appointment, it covers the whole description area so I can't see what I am typing. Not to mention the horrible large ICON that just shames poor ilauncher...
Agreed. I was curious because I had used Agendus as Action Names back in my Palm days. After testing driving it I agree that its pretty grim.
I haven't tried Agendus, so I have no opinion on it, but I vividly recall legions of Palm users saying they couldn't possibly switch to Windows Mobile because Agendus was still Palm-only. I wonder if they're still saying the same thing?

I'm glad you appreciate the effort, despite the problems you had. I'm rather amazed at all the issues people ran into with the software not installing, etc. Hopefully the next such offer we get from MobiHand will work out better. ;-)

Well, I suppose it might look like home to those folks but it sure won't feel like home. It amazing that a product whose interface worked so well on the PalmOS can be so abysmal on Windows Mobile. Then again...maybe I have been assimilated after 7 years on WinCE/PocketPC/Windows Mobile. I m sure Agendus has some fans out there.
