Default Flash Enabled Winners

http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1409&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Our judges have carefully tabulated the results, and the random drawing of winners for a copy of Flash Enabled, courtesy of New Riders Publishing, resulted in the following results: GC2350, akur, mclaugh, Kathy_Harris, bjornkeizers. As the fates would have it, New Riders sent me two copies of the book by mistake, so I'll be donating my other copy to someone. Congratulations to the winners! Everyone else, jump over to Amazon.com and order yourself a copy. (affiliate link)

Default Congrats

Congratulations to all the winners. I certainly hope to see some good things come out of you guys

I think it's great that Jason has decided to give one of his personal copies to some one!! I hope they use it well too. I would love to see Flash reach it's full potential on the Pocket PC. It just does not seam like Flash developers have caught on to what an amazing tool it could be.

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I'm already working on it I've installed Flash MX and am already zipping through the tutorials. Don't expect any killer apps just yet though

I was thinking that just yesterday.. it really is a marvellous tool and can achieve great things in the hands of a skilled person. I'm especially surprised none of the theme/flash guys jump at the chance of creating Animated Today content.. that is one technology that shows just how much we've achieved over the last couple of years, and what we can do in years to come. Plus. it looks damn cool!

Default Themes and Animated Themes

Well I love making themes I have about fourty I have made, but making Flash Movies is a little different! That is why I want this book. You see I use several 3D programs for making pictures and movies and if I could convert those to flash it would be really neat for Animated Today Screans as well as some interesting graphics for Flash games which I would love to make.

Default Thank you very much.

I would have posted my award speech, if bjorn keizers hadn't beaten me to it. Still, I'm very excited to have won one- I'm leaving for my honeymoon soon, perhaps I shall have this great reading material to absorb on the plane!
Thanks to both PT and Jason...

Might I recommend a great divorce lawyer? I hope Mrs. McLaugh is also a geek otherwise it's going to be one fun honymoon!
