Everyone in the Calgary, Alberta Area - Listen Up!
If you live in the Calgary, Alberta area and would be interested in an informal meeting to discuss the creation of a formal user group (or an informal regular gathering), please use the contact form to send me a short message with your email address. I'll collect them and in a couple of weeks we'll organize a simple gathering as a local restaurant or pub. There are quite a few "Pocket PC luminaries" in Calgary, so it's a little odd that we don't yet have a user group.

This sounds like a reason to get drunk. :drinking: uppydogeyes: ukeface:
You could have a game to see who can drink the most and still properly align the screen on their Pocket PC.

Make sure you use a screen protector. Who knows what might happen when you're drunk....

Yeah and Edmonton too, that's the city up north! There should be one in Edmonton.

The next step from a drinking game could be to devise a test to see if you are sober enough to drive. The police can test you with it to see if you qualify for a DWI booking.
It would be better than standing by the Mass Pike at 2.30am in a blizzard standing on one leg trying to recite the alphabet backwards. (I can't do that at the best of times).
Now if Jason is buying, I'll have to find a way to get to the pub in Calgary.

sounds like a challenge to me – and one worth accepting. Anyone out there interested - drop me a line. Looks like we will have us an organized geek tank.
