Hmmm most of the above sound nice ... but for me a winter skiing holiday plundering the deep powder in Zermatt, Switzerland is the ticket!

I've always wanted to visit my ancestor's homeland, Ireland. I think it would be great fun to enjoy a pint in a nice tavern and then take a drive along the scenic West Coast. (Maybe I should drive and then enjoy the pint, though.) It has to be during the summer though, I get depressed with too many cloudy days!

Anyone know if Ireland is a GSM country so I can use my Hermes, there?

My wife and I are off to Hawaii (the big island) on Sunday, for our first ever vacation away from our kids. My parents are flying into town to watch them for us. I only wish the contest had been a couple of weeks ago. I have a Cingular 8525 and could really use the windshield mount for the trip. I have iGuidance loaded with Hawaii maps. I guess I'll need to travel there again if I win. I can use the rest of the stuff, too. Having a charging cradle would be really nice. This is the first PPC I've owned that didn't come with a cradle.

Default Vacation

I would like to take my wife and son to see Dunkeld, Scotland which is a small village north of Glasgow where my father was born and all his relatives now live. every time I have been there, it feels like home. I hope they will get that sense too.

Definitely Dubai in the United Arab Emirates

If you've ever seen pictures of Dubai you'd know why. Dubai has the tallest building in the world being built right now. The building is not an office building! It is residential with each apartment being furnished by Georgio Armani. There is an indoor ski slope in the middle of the dessert. There are man made islands in the form of palm trees. They is surfing there on some of the most beautiful beaches. Tiger woods plays on some of the best courses in the world down there. And they LOVE Americans!

Now only if the ticket wasn't almost two months paycheck.

Well, let me see

A mixture of a few of the answers

I would go to Canada - but to the well groomed slopes of the Whister.
Get the Hermes (T-Mobile Vario II - pda no 2) with maps, ski-ing down the slopes watching the pda --- and whoops...

The case saved the day

In fact - I think it may be happening in 2008

Cheers.

Send a message via ICQ to dimo

I'd like to go to Cadiz in Spain again. I liked the hot weather and ocean there, and the nice people also.

My wife and I jsut came back from a wonderful holiday in the Philippines! A few weeks before we left, the wifey was googling for pics of this place called Boracay, and the pictures are very nice - but not as breathtaking and heavenly as when we actually arrived at the place!

Clear blue skies up above and palm trees line the white sand beaches whose waters defy the dominant colours of this site. The blueness was simply amazing! OH, lest I forget, the sands I heard were made from crushed corals, so even if the sun was way up, your feet still felt comfortable on the sand, which was as soft as flour. There's a bunch of things to do as well, and we indulged in snorkelling and viewed the spectacular corals and colorful tropical fishes, and then got an adrenalin rush with a 1000cc jetski that was almost floating above the waters as I was going full throttle!

Food was amazing too! Picture this: my wife and I, and my parents, we all had several drinks with those cute little colorful umbrellas, appetizers, main courses, salads, and desserts, and had more than enough left for tip for the waiter who was right on the dot with everything - cost us $40!!!

It was literally heaven on earth! And we're planning to go back next year, this time bringing my in-laws with us!
